Our History
Yorba Linda United Methodist Church Preschool first opened its doors in January 1964 as a heartfelt outreach to the community. What began with just two dedicated teachers and 20 eager children quickly flourished into a thriving preschool. Over the years, it has remained committed to its founding mission, preserving cherished traditions and building a legacy of nurturing, learning, and growth that continues to this day.
Our Mission
At Yorba Linda UMC Preschool, we offer a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow at their own pace. Our hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities cater to children from 18 months to 6 years old, fostering curiosity and a love for learning. Rooted in a Christian atmosphere of respect and kindness, we strive to create a warm and welcoming space for every child and family. Our dedicated teachers are carefully selected for their experience, enthusiasm, and specialized training, ensuring that each child receives the highest quality early childhood education..
